Ashlea graduated from the University of Texas in 2010 (Hook Em Horns!) and then earned her doctor of physical therapy (DPT) degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2014. She completed an orthopedic residency in 2016 in order to refine her treatment skills and since that time she has enjoyed working with sports and orthopedic patients in the outpatient setting. She is certified in dry needling and utilizes other modalities such as IASTM and cupping in her treatment. She is passionate about helping athletes return to the activities they enjoy. Outside of physical therapy she loves spending time with her family including her husband Mark and three sons Miles, Merritt and Mack as well as running marathons.
